Episode 2

December 2009 saw artists compete their skills against each other in the form of LIVE ICE SCULPTURE. Two Big blocks of ice were carved using basic sculpting tools on stage by four experienced fine artists over the course of the evening.

Artists Patrick Taylor and Paul Horne (pictured left) took on Tom Hall and Roy Brown in Bournemouth’s first live ice sculpting battle.

We discovered ice does melt faster inside clubs!

After 2 hours…

..and a lot of thought, the sculptures began to emerge.

The crowd had their say.

And everyone lived happily ever after.
